A lot has happened at Saint Mo’s since our official launch, just less than 2 months ago.
We spent 3 weeks unpacking our Core Values once more, this time discovering how each one of the values grows naturally out of the main movements of the Christ event (e.g. Hope from the Resurrection).
Next, we jumped into a study of Matthew’s Gospel that will last us through Easter, with a break for Advent, Christmas and January. Our sermons now are regularly available on the sermons page of the website.
Sam Park officially joined the team as one of Saint Mo’s pastors last week. We’re thrilled to have him on the team and he’s working to get our missional community groups up and running.
So far we’ve had a few people express an interest in being baptized and many others take conscious steps forward in their pursuit of Jesus. Our Sunday attendance has averaged around 140/week.
We’re excited to have some great guests sharing with us in the next couple of weeks. On November 6th, Trevor and Melissa Chin, from Epiphany Baltimore will lead us in worship. (You can hear some of their music here). And on November 13th, Mike Kelsey, from McLean Bible Church, Rockville, will be our preacher.
Your prayers, your notes, your contributions are such a wonderful encouragement to us. Thanks for partnering with us in the gospel in the Greater Charles Village area in Baltimore. And now that we’re “public,” please feel free to come visit one Sunday. If you have friends near us who don’t have a church home, please connect us. We’d love to meet them.
yours in Christ,
Ian for Saint Mo’s
